Daniel Szweda – Owner and Founder, Head Cheer Coach, and Tumbling Instructor
Coach Dan started his cheer career in college for the University of Wisconsin. He started coaching at AmericanCheerleadingAcademy in Marietta, Ga. He has managed and ran the gym in Cartersville since 2001. He travels to help other gyms with choreography and tumbling and is Nationally known in the cheer community. He loves the sense of family and the values that we instill in the children. Hard work, athleticism, morals, and a feeling of accomplishment are very important to him. Dan is married to Katie and his stepdaughter, Ashtyn, is on our Allstar Cheer Team.
Lisa Ray – Office Manager
Lisa has been taking care of accounts receivables/payables since 2005. Lisa loves working at Devilrays because of the friendships she has made through her coworkers and her wonderful bosses. She is a valuable asset to the Devilray workings. She is married and has 3 children, Morgan and twins Sophie and Chase born on 4th of July 2009.
Vickie Mouser – Gymnastics Director, Program Manager
Ms. Vickie has been working at Devilrays since 2007. She has been involved with gymnastics since she was 4 years old. In College in Ohio she started teaching and then in 1995 she moved to Cartersville. She coached at City of Cartersville until 1999 when she opened her own gymnastics facility. After 6 years, Ms. Vickie went to work at World of Gymnastics as their team coordinator until the Devilrays offered for her to start a gymnastics program here. It has grown every year since then! She loves working at Devilrays because of the wonderful staff and family atmosphere. Vickie is newly married, has 2 kids, and one on the way. Her daughter is on the Allstar Cheer Team at Devilrays!
Nicole Scott – Allstar Coach, Tumble Instructor, Office Administrator
Nicole has been coaching at Devilray since 2008. She started cheering as a little girl. In high school she cheered all 4 years on Varsity. She helped ColumbusStateUniversity earn a National Championship Title. She has been helping or coaching cheerleading since 2002. Nicole loves D-Rays mostly because it is a Christian based family. She loves knowing all the kids and their parents. She is married to a wonderful husband whom she met through cheerleading in college and has 2 beautiful little girls.
Doug Bond– Allstar Coach, Tumble Instructor
Eric Mewbourne – Allstar Coach, Tumbling Instructor
Eric has been working at Devilrays since 2009. He cheered on our Allstar Team before that. He loves working at Devilrays because he loves working with kids, teaching them and how to apply skills taught into other aspects of their life. Eric is currently attending GeorgiaHighlands.
Stacy VanDusen - Gymnastics Coach
Haley Topham – Night Front Office Personnel
Haley has been working at Devilrays since 2009. She loves working here because of the people she works with, and the wonderful morals. She is currently attending KennesawStateUniversity majoring in biology and planning to finish with a master’s degree to become a physician’s assistant.
Chris Cook – Promotional Manager, Gymnastics Coach, Tumbling Instructor
We were lucky to snag Coach Chris in August of 2010. She was a gymnast for 8 years at DeKalb YMCA and Druid Hills HS. She has been a gymnastics judge and coached in Lithonia and Gym Atlanta. She owned HuntsvilleGymnasticsAcademy for 12 years. She then was a Program Director/ Gym Manager at US Gold and Cheer. Chris also does freelance work all over the Southeast to help other gyms with their programs. She loves working at Devilrays for the great facility, the exceptional level of student performance and staff desire to improve their knowledge and selflessness of them to share with their students. Chris came back to the Atlanta Area to be closer to her sister and family.
